IT IS ONE OF MY MORE EXPENSIVE STOLES BECAUSE IT IS REVERSIBLE, HAND BOUND ON EACH SIDE WITH COORDINATING BIAS BINDING, AND THE EMBROIDERIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHITE SIDE TAKE 4 HOURS EACH, PLUS ALL THE OTHER EMBROIDERIES.
THIS BEAUTIFUL, UNUSUAL FABRIC IS AN OFF-WHITE COTTON WITH EXTREMELY PALE BRUSH STROKES OF PALE GREEN, GOLD, AND WHITE SCATTERED ACROSS THE FABRIC THAT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE PICTURE, ONLY IN PERSON BECAUSE IS IS SO LIGHT. THE BOTTOMS FEATURE A MACHINE EMBROIDERED FLORAL DESIGN IN SHADES OF GREEN THAT IS APPROX 10 X 5". THE UPPER ONE SIDE FEATURES A GREEN FILIGREE EMBROIDERED LARGE CHI RHO CROSS. THE EDGES ARE HAND-BOUND IN THE COORDINATING GREEN BATIK FROM THE REVERSE SIDE AND HAS 2 1/4" OFF-WHITE COTTON LACE AT THE BOTTOM.
THE REVERSE SIDE IS A DARK GREEN COTTON BATIK WITH MACHINE EMBROIDERED 8" HIGH FILIGREE CROSSES AT THE BOTTOM AND A FILIGREE CHALICE ON ONE UPPER FRONT.
EMBROIDERY IS SHOWN IN OFF-WHITE THREAD IN THIS PICTURE, BUT YOU CAN ALSO REQUEST GOLD THREAD EMBROIDERY.
THIS STOLE GIVES YOU TWO CHOICES FOR AN ORDINARY TIME STOLE SINCE IT IS REVERSIBLE.
